Rachel HeadshotI am a mobile reflexologist covering Berkhamsted, Tring and the surrounding area. A treatment in your own home allows you to totally relax. You won’t need to travel to a treatment room or find a babysitter and it allows you to fit it more easily in to your busy schedule. It also allows your body time to respond to the treatment. I am a fully qualified and insured reflexologist and a registered member of The Complementary Medical Association.

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body.

Reflexology does not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. It is a very individual treatment which is tailored to you as a whole person, taking into account both physical and non-physical factors that might be affecting your wellbeing.

The theory is that reflexology helps the body to restore its balance naturally. Usually, after a treatment your tension may be reduced and you might feel relaxed. You might also notice yourself sleeping better and find your mood and sense of wellbeing improving. You may also find that other aspects improve too; however, this happens on an individual basis.

I will use gentle massage techniques to help you relax, then apply firm pressure to the reflexes on the feet, increasing blood and energy flow to the corresponding parts of the body, leaving you feeling restored, rebalanced and rejuvenated.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment which aims to treat the whole person, body, mind and spirit.
